    Canon 430EX Speedlite - A Great Flash at a Great Price

    The Canon 430EX Speedlite is not the latest generation electronic flash from Canon, but it works perfectly on all the latest Canon cameras. All this and you can find one for less than half the price of the latest speedlites. This flash has an LCD display that shows you its operating range, and fully controls the camera. It also has custom functions, and offers automatic zoom to cover the lens in use, as well as bounce and swivel of the flash head. It does everything a Canon EX flash needs to do, and you can find one at very attractive prices!

    I got what I paid for I guess

    When I got it it. I put batteries in it and it didn’t work when I looked at the terminals I saw that they were covered with battery acid. I took an ice pack and scrape the tops of each of the terminals and we can put the batteries back in and then it worked. It is a nice II saw that they were covered with battery acid.     Great Intermediate Flash Kit

    The Canon Speedlite 430EX II is a great intermediate flash kit. It has a good enough output at a consistent speed when attached to the camera via hotshoe and can be used off camera as a slave flash unit. I have only used this unit as an off camera flash for more artistic control over my lighting and have not been disappointed.

    Great purchase,just what I was looking for.

    I recently upgraded from my very good but 11 year old Canon XTI to a new Canon T7 , found out that Canon has no longer in place a central contact post so my non Canon brand TTL flash was not compatible . This unit mates and works perfectly with the camera .

    Very Good Addition to My Camera

    This flash works well with my Canon PowerShot SX50 HS. It has made my indoor photos much better. It still does not do real well taking indoor photos of a large area but I am just learning how to use it. I have only used it on auto so far.
