    Practical

    Pyrex is nice, see through and easy to clean. Watch out for thermal shocks. I can properly adjust the heat level, because I can see what's going on inside. Letting the pot boil violently lifts the lid of the plastic basket and the coffee grounds end up in the pot. Makes fantastic coffee. Far better than automatic or Keurig variety. The very top is cheap plastic, not glass. Rated 4 stars for coffee flavor. Would buy again.

    Brews hot!

    We wanted icoffee that was hot after Brewing unlike the two electric drip ones we have. The open flame top percolator does just that, but does not hold the heat over a short period time and the handle gets too hot. Other than that coffee taste great with it.

    Solidly Designed Kettle

    The transparent kettle makes it easy to see progress to boiling state, and of course the whistle also let's you know boiling state has been reached. Easy to pour without hot steam passing by your hand. Kettle is stylish and functional.

    Bye-bye, Mr. Coffee!!

    After using drip type coffee makers for about the last decade or so, I've decided to try this. Unit came today and it looks like a winner!! Well constructed, easy to handle and looks to be well worth the money. Mine came with a clear glass perk-view top - not the plastic, frosted one pictured here. Think I'm going to like this!!
