Here is a Lionel 3376 Vintage O Bronx Zoo Blue Operating Giraffe Car from 1960-1966. When the car comes by the track Trip the giraff... This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. This item appears to have been run sparingly, and displays overall signs of light previous use. There are some scratches, nicks and imperfections on the paint consistent with age and use. The original box is included but it displays several tears and missing flaps. Know Your Gi-raffe Cars!
The Lionel 3376-3386 Giraffe Car is an entertaining piece of rolling stock introduced by Lionel in 1960. Things to look for: -Both "horns" (actually ossicones) on the giraffe head -Actuator cam on the bottom should have arms on both sides -Return spring going from cam to car floor The giraffe ducks his head under the telltale when the actuator arm hits the metal ramp. So, everything pictured in this picture (plus track) is needed for proper operation. Have fun with your giraffe car! Personally, I have 20 of 'em... :) -MMM-
