    Can even be played in the swimming pool on a rubber donut!

    Perfect game for all ages; difficulty can grow as age grows. Simple to set up and play. In fact, since the pieces and game board are plastic, with no paper pieces involved, we used to place it on a rubber donut and play it in the pool on vacations with our children in the 80's.

    Underrated! Super fun! Super easy to learn!

    One of the most underrated games of all time! The plastic version has so much more detail than the wood version, though I love them both. Easy instructions. Fun for all ages really. I played with my mother when I was about nine years old.

    Better looking pieces and board

    I have played the wooden pieces version of Citadel since it first came out and really liked the simplicity and strategy nature of it. This Mattel version takes the appearance of the pieces to a new level.
