Item : Refurbished Bose Wave Music System with Muti-CD Changer – Grey AWRCCI
1. The radio and cd1 plays and ejects ok.
2. Placed cd’s in cd2, 3 and4.
- All said either Reading CD for long periods of time, then said “No DISC”
- None of them would play or Eject.
- All had the Yellow light on, indicating a cd was in the unit.
3. Followed instructions found online to eject cd’s in cd2, 3 and cd4.
- Unplugged all connected from base and multi changer, then unplugged unit from outlet.
- Turned the multi changer upside down, and then right side up.
- Reconnected all of the cables to the multi changer.
- Reconnected the outlet cable and all of the cd’s cd 2, 3 and 4 all ejected at the same time.
4. Tried again to get unit working.
- Placed cd’s in cd1, which started playing.
- Placed cd’s in cd2, but the Yellow didn’t come indicating a disc was in unit.
- Tried to switch from cd1 to cd2
- Said NO Disc in cd2 and CD2 would not eject.
5. Tried again.
- Placed cd’s in cd1, which started playing.
- Placed cd’s in cd2, the Yellow light was on indicating a disc was in unit.
- Tried to switch from cd1 to cd2
- Said NO Disc in cd2 and CD2 would not eject.
- Said Reading Disc, then “DISC ERROR”
- CD2 ejected the cd and went back to cd1, but it didn’t start playing.
- Unit went back to None of them would play or Eject.
6. Tried again.
- Placed cd’s in cd1, which started playing.
- Placed cd’s in cd3, the Yellow light was on indicating a disc was in unit.
- d3 said Reading Disc
- The CD started protruding in and out about a 1/8 of an inch over and over again. It didn’t come out enough to grab it though. This went on for a log time.
- Pressed stop/eject
- It said ejecting but cd didn’t come out.
- Pressed “CD” and display said changed to cd4 and said NO Disc, because there was no cd in it.
- HOWEVER, the cd in cd3 continued to protrude in and out as described a few points about in item 6.
- Pressed “CD” and player changed to d1 and started playing.
7. Followed instructions again found online, (# 3 above) to eject cd’s in cd3.
- Unplugged all connected from base and multi changer, then unplugged unit from outlet.
- Turned the multi changer upside down, and then right side up.
- Reconnected all of the cables to the multi changer.
- Reconnected the outlet cable and all of the cd3 ejected.
