LOVE OSTER CLIPPERS
Heard so much good from this model. Been using oster clippers for 5 years (different models/detachable blades) the sound is much quieter than the original 76, model 10, etc. And also much lighter and more easy to hold. Feels nice I would recommend this clipper. I would recommend oster clippers WITH Detachable blades/ in my opinion more smoother fades, blends, durability, powerful motor. Ever since I used a 76 at a salon that provided the equipment, I could not switch back to Wahl or anything else because these clippers cut through like butter. This clipper gets VERY hot in just a few minutes; not good.
Don't waste your money on this clipper. Go ahead and splurge on the time-tested Oster 76 detachable blade clipper. The standard of the industry. This new Oster clipper gets REALLY SUPER HOT in just a few minutes. Beware if you go ahead and buy one. You've been warned. The enclosed factory guide even says it gets hot. It does NOT have any vent holes on the housing/body of the clipper. Hence the intense heat factor. It's just that simple. It's also a copy of the Andis Excel 2-speed detachable blade clipper. It has two running speeds. One for "Normal" speed and the 2nd setting is "Turbo", which is the setting that gets super hot fast.
