Small hardware items are often shipped in light weight small plastic packaging which makes them more prone to delivery delays and/or losses by shipper. They easily get bumped, blown off or displaced from conveyor belts while being routed within shipment distribution centers. My items arrived late, but were well packaged in a heavier padded cardboard envelope which likely lessened their shipping delay (not lost in transit).
