    Plug and play

    Works great. Had an old Malibu transformer quit working after 6 years. Ordered this as a replacement. I was able to unpack plug-in, set the timer function settings, plug in the sensor and walk away. Haven’t had one issue. Would order again.

    Unique and different from most others

    Two main differences, and I've installed and used many [different] photocell landscape lighting timers over the years. First, if power goes out, unit maintains it's settings for at least a day. In fact, even if it's unplugged (which is more definite than losing power) it doesn't lose its mind. Second, and and of real value, is the "off" setting when using the photocell to turn on the unit at dusk. Every other photocell unit that I've used allows you to set the number of hours until the unit turns off. This one (instead) allows you to set the TIME of day (AM) or night (PM) that the unit turns off. For my application, it means no matter how the on-time changes as the seasons change, the unit will always turn off at the same time. The instructions for this feature are ambiguous and in ...
