Pill Pockets make it so much easier to give medication to my dogs. I used to have to hold them down and put a pill in their mouth, hold their mouth shut, and wait until they give in and swallow (which didn't always happen). I could try to put a pill in a peice of cheese or lunch meat only to later find the pill on the floor or under furniture or somewhere else besides in the dog. Now I take half a Pill Pocket (our dogs and their pills are little), put a pill inside, fold it closed, and the dogs grab it and it's gone almost immediately! No dropped pills, no finding pills later, no struggle of wills, none of that. If only these were around for our other dogs, life would have been so much easier. We have rescued dogs with major depression, severe allergies, and other various other health issues that have needed medication since my wife and I got together, and giving the dogs medication was always the worst chore of the day. Not anymore. I probably sound like a commercial, but I am just an average person who loves dogs, and wants to take care of them. We have actually been able to adopt more since Pill Pockets came out.
