Hayward IC board
My heater wouldn't turn on and displayed an error code that the manual said was a faulty temp sensor. I replaced the sensor and it didn't correct the code. After some research I found that it might be the IC board. Replacement boards were upwards of $300 everywhere I looked. This board was under $180 and came with the vacuum module. I took a chance and am glad I did. It worked perfectly and solved my problem. Simple to install.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Necessary evil
Its the direct OEM replacement. There are multiple versions of this component. Most being sold are not the latest. The one I purchased was, before you purchase ensure it is at least the same level as the one beng replaced. This part failed within a year of owning the heater and it fails on a lot of heaters that I can tell. The problem seems to be bad relays soldered on the board. Hayward needs to use different relays or make them with sockets so each relay can be individually replaced. Replacing the entire circuit board is extremely expensive at >$300 vs a single relay at $10. I would not but a used one.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Perfect fit and a great value
My Hayward H300 FDN 2010 model had error code CE communication error, tried the display board and the board under the keypad to no avail. With a little research online I found that this is more than likely the problem. 15 minute installation and fired up like a new one. Check your board for burn marks in the circuitry , if any visible burnt or hot spots its a good bet the board is your problem.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

My first Hayward heater lasted two years, bad heat exchanger , second Hayward pool heater had a bad pressure switch after two months of use.

Fixed my CE message
My Hayward H250 pool heater started giving me the CE message error on the display. It started out as a intermittent problem. I replaced the display board last year with no change but being the problem was not there all the time I was able to get through the season. This year the message came up and I could not make it go away.
