    Exactly as described; couldn't be happier.

    I love the Chronicles of Narnia. I've been searching, for some time, for another set with the books numbered in the original order, with The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe first in the set. Why didn't I come to Ebay sooner? The books are used, as expected, but in very good condition. They are yellowed but clean and unmarked. To have found the exact set NEW would have made me only mildly happier. Now to enjoy these with my grandchildren as I did with my children.

    Great Idea, Disappointing Reality

    I hate to give bad reviews. I was excited to receive these books and at first glance was happy to see they were in good condition. However, when we opened the first book, it gave a slight *crack* and the cover fell off. Then when we opened the book further, *snap* the binding split in two. The next book we picked up fared similarly. We ended up having to order a different set. So while we were looking forward to having a set of old books, we were also hoping they'd be readable without falling apart...

    Perennially wonderful

    This version of the Chronicles of Narnia arranges the stories as originally published, which is logical within the context of the entire cycle. The artwork is endemic of its time and classic. The quality of the binding is questionable, but it seems doubtful that the publishers meant for mass-market paperbacks to last ~fifty years!

    Great books; classic set

    The Chronicles of Narnia are wonderful books, and its best if you can get them in this classic set (arranged properly, with The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe first, rather than the Magician's Nephew). I got a nice set at a really good price with the books all still in fantastic condition, though the box was torn.

    Classic

    I read these books as a teenager and reread as an adult. I gave this set as a gift to my 10 year old god daughter. She has already started reading the first book only a week after getting them. The set was really clean. It looks like only the first nook was opened.
