    Good news - They were well packaged and shipped safely, arrived in excellent condition. Not good news - they were not "plates" but saucers. Just say so. I find more and more vendors who feel by saying as little as possible they remove themselves from any responsibility to the buyer. Maybe in this life but we'll be waitin' for you in the next. As this was more or less a foray to see if I liked the pattern I will keep them. Thanks for packaging them carefully.
