    Wanted to love it but install was incredibly frustrating. I do plenty of electrical work but it was impossible to splice cable back together and retain functionality. Now my truck smells like burnt plastic and I’m out 30 bucks on a puck I can’t return cause I cut it. Design could easily be tweaked to allow for the usb c base to pass through - resolving the issue and greatly streamlining install. I’m still going to use it and just loop the cable around the back and run to usb c port

    Sorry you had trouble reconnecting wires. Some find that easy, but sorry it was not so in your case. Glad you will use the dock nevertheless. The charging dock is incredibly functional, as per other direct and public feedback.
