Product Information

Protect your outdoor equipment and vehicles with this Fluid Film corrosion inhibitor in a five-gallon bucket. This film is made from a wool-wax base formulation of lanolin, which offers tack-free lubrication for all moving parts. It stops existing corrosion from progressing, and it penetrates to free up stuck mechanisms that are frozen by ice. It does not harm paint, plastic, or rubber. It can be applied onto rusted areas and dry or wet surfaces. Paint, brush, roller, or spray it on.

    Many Various Uses!

    This product for me has various uses! I did a small test prior to buying the 5-gal size with a small spray can I found at a local auto supply store. I had heard a little bit about "Fluid Film" but had never seen it in stores. Where I live it seems rust is an issue year round. If not salty roads in winter we have high humidity in warmer months. The test I did was cleaning and sharpening lawn mower blades in my garage. I clean my blades to bare metal. After I sharpened the three (3) blades that go on my mower I treated two (2) with "Fluid Film" and one (1) I left untreated. I left them laying out in my garage. The two (2) had a light coating and had no rust after one (1) week. The one (1) untreated blade had surface rust already forming. For me I can see several uses for this product. I have ...

    Fluid Film to protect your metal investments!

    I know this is a quality product as I have used it for many years. A Navy friend of mine recommended it to me, he used it on ships at sea to protect anything metal. I have used it on cars and trucks frames and underbodies as protection from salt in the northern states. Also used on farm equipment and anything seasonal that I want to protect from rust. You can't go wrong with Fluid Film to protect your many investments of steel.

    Very good product. Works for me.

    I have used this product for several years now and have found it to be very effective. I live in Pa. where they treat the roads with all types of nasty materials, using this product has saved my vehicles from rust and corrosion. This has allowed me to run my vehicles a lot longer and only replace them due to mechanical problems, not rust.

    Great Stuff

    This is great stuff. If you live in the rust belt, like me, this is a must. I manage a fleet of trucks, and this is what I put on them. I bought the gun used for it, and it goes on soooo much nicer than I thought it would. The only thing I wish was different about it would be that there is no spout on top of the bucket. This means you either have to pour it without the lid on, or siphon it. I used a large mouth funnel and poured it, with minimal mess.
