    Good quality drives

    I always use Western Digital purple drives for cctv video recording and the only time I had an issue is when one failed after a few months but as I had registered it with Western Digital when I purchased it they replaced it with a brand new one free which has been running 24/7 for over 2 years now. These drives run very quiet and quite cool and I have never experienced and errors with the recordings, but I only ever buy new factory sealed drives never used ones.

    All round great for security systems.

    Not really noisy but clicks on and off all the time and a bit annoying at bedtime, will move it to another room when I get time. Excellent value, i would recommend this to everyone.

    Check you BIOS 4TB Max limit

    You need to check your computer BIOS that it can take 6TB drives. This will only show up as 4TB, so 1/3 of the capacity cannot be used
