    it was exactly as advertised

    it is the first sims game. with all expansions there is really nothing that can be said about it that hasnt already been said in the last 20 years. BUT this game is not 100% compatible with modern windows operating systems out of the box.. if anyone out there is haveing the same problem i did, its because new windows is not compatible with the old school DRM (piracy protection) that the sims used. (DISC checks will basically always fail and the game will never launch). there was a fix, i had to find a new version of the sims EXE file that bypasses the DISC check and swap it out with the sims exe file that installed with the rest of the program files. after that the game ran perfectly.

    Nostalgia overload

    I was recently watching a lot of YouTube, came a cross a streamer who was playing the original Sims game, and I just had to have it. I grew up playing the GameCube port of this game. As good as that was, it doesn’t do it justice. I was always a huge fan of the SimCity series as well, so you really can’t go wrong with this. Just make sure you look for a really good deal, brand new ones are expensive.

    Classic Game Ever!

    The Sims 2 is my first Sims game, but I never tried the original Sims game. Therefore, I purchased it for my collection. Although it is not suitable with the modern system, it solved by searching for solutions from the Sims community. It is good for anyone who buys for the collection or doesn't want to pirate the game.

    My brother loves it

    We've always loved the complete series. As an adult now lol...it was a good nostalgic purchase. You see the age of the disc but that's understandable. It's working great. It doesn't have serial keys but you can find that anywhere. Ahh...such a great old game. Glad to have bought it 🙂
