    It works. No need for my old bridge.

    Linksys has an installation help group that does everything for you. They cover three floors, a deck & pool area and no difference in speed. They hook up to the EA9500 which is the best router in the consumer market.

    Strange problems with Velop mesh system

    The jury is still out. I've had issues with internet disappearing on some nodes, but not on others for months now, and Linksys is still sporadically trying to figure out why. I've seen the Velop mesh work well, but then the on-off issue with internet connectivity is a real pain.

    "Wired" performance better, WiFi not so much

    Very easy to set up, but almost no notable improvement in WiFi. The "hardwire" connection to the main router is better, but WiFi performance is virtually unchanged.
