    Perfect for gamers

    It's obvious that Elgato knew what they were doing when they designed this mic for streamers and gamers. The anti-clipping is an awesome feature, even though I don't yell very much. Other mics I've had sometimes clipped and distorted when I got animated or excited even without yelling or anything, so it's awesome that this mic just doesn't distort at high volumes even when I experiment with yelling straight into it. The mic is also good at preventing plosives. I think Elgato recommends being 7 inches away from the mic, at which distance plosives wouldn't be as bad, but even being pretty close to the mic I don't really get plosives. The sound is really good, and I'm not a mic expert but to me it sounds as good as some XLR mics that some streamers use. The capacitive mute button is such a ...

    Completely happy with the item. Just understand because it is a condenser mic that it will pick up a lot of background noise and you will need to learn about Elgato Wavelink and the VST plugins you will need to use. If you aren't willing to put in a little time to learn on YouTube and want a plug and play mic, that is clear, then I suggest you go with a different mic. However, if you want a mic that sounds like you, then you cannot go wrong with this mic.

    Best USB streaming / Zoom mic

    Very high quality mic with high sensitivity, good sound and works great out of the box with Linux. Keep it away from your keyboard as it will pick up the key noise and drown out your voice. The lights on the mic are quite bright which can be a distraction if you are working in the dark.
