Having dealt with firearms for over 40 years, this one is very well made, and parts are as well. I have owned and operated it now for approx. 6 weeks and thus far it works fine and is alot of fun. It is one firearm that I cannot wait till additional magazines are available for it. I also hope that they somehow now offer a larger holding magazine as well. Great Product, Thanks

It is really fun too shoot, I actually love mine but I only rated it 3 stars because it needs to be more powerful, I feel like crosman just wanted it on the shelf. If it would last a little longer on the cartridges then it would be a little better with the same power. 2nd there's a lot of different malfunctions on different guns of the same model, mine happens to get stuck down in the butt stock & the charging handle doesn't return after u pull it. after 3 days of tinkering I found that it was getting hung up on the center bar so u just have to wiggle it one direction or another

I've had this airgun for a few months now and have shot thousands of bbs and hundreds of co2 cartridges without any problems. The best plinker ever. The full auto feature never ceases to put a smile on anyone's face. Its even better after I added a good holographic dot scope and faux suppressor.

Trust me, this is the best AR based air rifle you can buy. Anyone writing negative reviews either does not understand it's objective or is otherwise ignorant about firearms in general. This rifle is designed to provide the AR feel without being the actual gun. It is not designed to be a powerhouse rifle. It is not designed to be like a vintage Beeman RX or R1 for accuracy. It does however have decent power at rated 430 fps. I have owned one for approx one year. I have literally thousands of rounds through it. It is a solid piece. Engineered on the AR platform with collaboration from DPMS. One of the biggest AR manufacturers on the market. If you want the select fire experience that most of us crave, this IS your ticket. If you want a Match grade rifle, go buy a Beeman or other German made target rifle for $500-$3000.00 The Crossman DPMS is a no brainer. BUY IT for 200ish you cant go wrong. Magazines were not available before 2020 Now you can get them for $49.00 online. This gun uses ALL AR parts as far as add on's. I frequently swap my night scope and rail mount bipod and flashlight to and from my AR15. Again, you cannot go wrong. It's unreal cheap for what it does. It would not surprise me if this is outlawed one day. It has enough power to effectively kill rats around our chicken coups. Try a night scope with full auto! Definitely a cool experience. Happy shooting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Read full review

Very impressed. As others have stated the speedloader is a big negative (reason for 4 stars). Mine was useless and actually had a BB stuck in it upon box opening. I researched many other platforms of this type before choosing the DPMS. With the realistic look feel and auto fire I am not dissapointed. So far 200 rnds no issues. IMO a must have for true inthusiasts.

Rifle looks, weighs, and has tactile feel of a real SBR. Safety, bolt release, mag release, and trigger are all functional and mirror a true AR. Flip up sights are cheap—but they were spot on out of the box. Accuracy is decent for a BB gun (probably better than most). Automatic function is flawless and extremely fun. For AR training, this is an economical and realistic platform you can use in your back yard. My only complaints all surround magazine capacity, magazine build design, and the BB loader. The design and build quality are far lower than the rest of the rifle. The magazine only holds 25 BBs. In full auto, that is just over 3 seconds. Would be better if it held 50 BBs. The magazine holds two CO2 cartridges and has a cast zinc inner structure, covered with a thin plastic shell and a removable panel to access CO2 cylinders. That panel is finicky to remove and install. It is also the base of the magazine. It doesn’t appear to be reinforced plastic and if you drop it once, it’s game over. If you try and use the bottom of the magazine as a support rest, that side panel easily pops open. My last complaint is the auto loader. The loader is made from cheap plastic and jams continuously. The plunger shaft is constructed so light weight, it feels like it’s going to break, even when it’s not jammed. Overall, the rifle has a great feel and functionality. Put a red dot on it and practice steel challenge matches, or plink and varsity control. Hopefully, the manufacturer will modify the reloader and magazine design—or an aftermarket solution. Either way, it’s not a deal breaker. Get one, and have some fun. Read full review

I was skeptical at first but this BB Gun is quite amazing. I had an issue with a BB getting stuck in the barrel, but I learned you should never use Daisy brand BB’s. Hornady Diamond Black BBs are highly recommended by users online. The fix was easy since this rifle breaks down just like a real AR. I added a cheapo red dot and bipod as shown in my photos. Love this BB Gun

first off the gun is really fun to shoot and it is made of high quality materials. The only downside is it’s reliability it jams quite frequently if it’s cold out or your full auto firing to the much other than that make sure your using the right bbs or IT WILL BREAK. the gun holds 2 CO2 canisters that store in the magazine they last about 2-3 full magazines so you can shoot a lot before a refill, it is blow back action but there is minimal kick. overall it’s a quality product that’s lots of fun just be make sure you are using the right bbs and are keeping the internals clean.

I bought 2 of these, I was skeptical at first, I have bought Crosman's all plastic Pump "M4 177 Kit BB/Pellet" replica M4 rifle for my grand kids and it was junk, so fragile the stock broke off. But this Crosman replica Panther DPMS SBR arrived and it is so real looking and feeling and operating, I was shocked considering the price. And it's Semi and Full Auto fire too! All Steel and Fibre embedded Poly made frame and components are as study as the real thing. It weighs the same, feels the same, dimensionally, mm for mm identical, even uses a "Drop Magazine" that holds dual CO2 caplets and 30 BB's as if it were a real 30 round M4 magazine. While not as accurate as a Pellet rifle with a rifled steel barrel, this BB rifle will shoot 1-inch groups as 10 meters (33 feet) and I chronographed 50 shots that averaged around 410fps (below the claimed 520fps, but still very powerful!). This is why I bought a second one so we can practice Run n Gun competition shooting but with BB's instead of expensive bullets. My ONLY complaint is the terrible Plastic Flip Up "Iron Sights" which are garbage, but you can replace them with Alloy sights mean for a real AR-15 or AR-4 rifle. I've already modified our two DPMS SBR/s with Red Dot Holographic Sights, red Laser sighters and sling mounts for Run n Gun shooting. This Crosman will take all the accessories (except the butt stock) that you can put on a real M-4 /AR15.Read full review
