Items were in factory sealed containers...boxes were in excellent shape...(i purchased and installed 3 of them)...highly recommended...! Word of note to anyone installing this item on a brand new Dell laptop...do not use this item until after laptop is finished with it's install & update process...use the included laptop power supply during initial setup & update of laptop...as this item is intelligent, and therefore will need it's BIOS updated with latest software...if this is done after laptop is finished, with it's setup, this will be just fine...if hooked up prior to laptop setup, there will be a conflict with the Windows & Dell setups...this is what I did and had to re-do the laptop initialization...not a big deal, however it was a time consuming "pain"...highly recommended product & seller...items were shipped immediately...jo'cRead full review
