Bought my first Seiko divers watch in 1986 to use for diving and surfing. Wear it all the time. This watch is with out a doubt the most rugged, stylish, functional watch on the market for the price. My first watch has function flawlessly over the years, never missed a beat! I get lots of compliment on the watch as well. People often compliment and assume its a very expensive, high end watch. I have purchased other brands for a lot more money, none of them are currently working. Rather than repair them I bought 2 more of these. I own 3 of them now. In my opinion, its with out a doubt the best value on the market!

Purchased almost a month ago and has been my daily driver since I bought it. I am glad I purchased it. Well worth every penny. It's a very stylish looking watch and looks as good as my more expensive Swiss made automatics. The fit and finish is outstanding and every bit as heavy as my Tag Aquaracer. The only problem I have had is that it runs about 10 seconds fast a day. Honestly for the $300 that I paid that's acceptable. I wasn't expecting +/- 2 seconds a day. Any regrets? None. Would I buy it again? Absolutely!

After two days with this new watch, I really believe this Seiko Diver is a great value! Beautiful dial and nice quality visible throughout. It’s large, but doesn’t feel too big at all. The bracelet worried me a bit at first, because it seemed a bit flimsy, compared to other Swiss divers, but I soon realized it is very comfortable. The links rattle a bit more than other higher end bracelets, but only when it’s off my wrist. Once it’s on, I never hear a thing. The lume is very cool and I haven’t seen a flaw in the watch yet! The finish on the watch and bracelet isn’t very shiny, more of a burnished look, and it’s really growing on me. It seems very uniform and understated, as compared to a big ultra-shiny hunk of metal. The best part is I set it two days again when I got it and it has only lost one second per day! Who knew it would be so accurate?Read full review

Overall, the watch is great. It looks more expensive than it actually is. The watch is great for all around use, whether your at work or actually diving. The Lume brightens up fast stays illuminated with the beautiful blue glow. I’m really happy with the materials and build of the watch. I would give it 5 stars, but there is some quality control issues. My bezel is night aligned with the dial. It’s manageable, but for a Seiko product, I would at least expect the bezel and dial to line up properly.

Excellent build quality, as is expected from Seiko. Sharp details and color. Wears well on the wrist in terms of weight and size. I haven't tested the water resistance and don't really plan on it so couldn't rate the reliability of that. Quality band as well. Definitely exceeded my expectations.
