    Great Mirrors for Ezgo Gas Valor

    Got these mirrors for my 2017 Ezgo TXT gas Valor and the work very well. Doesn’t interfere with aftermarket fold down windshield either. My roof support already had a pre drilled hole on both sides so used that for my bottom mount then using the mirror as a template, drilled the top holes with a 1/4 inch bit. The hardware pack is actually pretty good with nylock nuts using to secure the bolts. Helpful Tip: to save some time and maybe a headache, when installing the hardware, put the washers against the mirror mount and run the screws in Before trying to put them through with the mirror positioned against the roof support. Then install the whole thing as a unit. The reason why is that, at least on my set, I couldn’t swivel the mirror out of the way enough to get the top bolt and washer in ...

    install mirrors

    don't use the screws. don't drill holes in the roofs support bar. purchase two "u' bolts that are just big enough to go around the support bar. I used round u-bolts. square ones are good too. use stainless steel if you ride the beach. put the u-bolt around the roof support just above the half fold of the windshield with the bolts facing to the outside. put the u- bolts bar on and then the nuts. slide the mirrors long plastic -upper- bar under the u-bolts metal bar. tighten the nuts evenly on each side. also, the mirror glass can pop out on rough roads. you can run a fine bead of silicon at the edge of the glass and the plastic case to help prevent this. cut off the excess u-bolt threads at the nuts with a hacksaw so you can fold the mirrors in to install a cover.
