Fantastic!
Very customizable, wider range of levels. Ringer can turn down or off. Can set night mode times for ME, not when they want. Sound is very clear. Can put handset on charger all day with no problem to battery. Can keep second handset for a spare & base can be used in a power failure. Has a spot for the "old" smaller headset plug. Bought this to replace a broken handset but can use the other pieces as they die out. Tried other phones, but this is far superior. Bought the original in 1995 & has worked for 20 yrs! It's a great product. Does exactly what you would expect it to do. Easy to programme and get up and running. However, beware, it is designed for the US market so although it still works in the UK you will need US to UK adapter plugs. A quick search on google for the equivalent UK panasonic adapters came up with a few but they are priced at £15 each. You would need three so thats another £45. We ended up using adapters but the plugs look a bit unsightly hanging off the wall and not very secure. Oh, and the answering machine comes with an American accent - not sure if that's a plus or a minus but is sure is different y'all.It's a great product. Does exactly what you would expect it to do. We LOVED this phone!!! High Quality item at a Great Bargain price!! This manufacturer refurbished phone looks and works just like the higher priced new ones!I highly recommend purchasing this product!I would gladly purchase it again and we are now considering buying one for my parents. It is really easy to use. The base phone can be used as a wall mount or destop version. I love that the base phone is corded so that when teenagers have mislaid the wireless handsets, I still have access to promptly answer the phone when it rings! The large numbers are so easy to read and the lighted keypads and screens make it SO much EASIER for everyone! I give this phone FIVE STARS!!!We LOVED this phone!!! I bought this phone after having several Panasonics before, some being good, but more recently, some were poor quality. Those manufactured in China are the loosers. Those that had previously been made in Mexico were much better. But other brands had been just as disappointing, so I decided to give Panasonic one more try. The result? "Pretty good." So far the base station, two handsets, and an extra handset, have worked flawlessly, though I realize others may not have been so lucky. Sound quality is certainly acceptable. I have no complaints about the ease of use or the battery life. But I haven't had it all that long, so take that into account. A great cordless phone
I bought this phone with 6 cordless handsets and the base because my previous cordless phone interrupted my wireless internet almost each time the phone rang. I was rather intimidated by the instructions for setting up the 6 handsets but I was eventually able to get things working. Both my wife and I really like the clarity of this system and now that we have had it a while, the ease of using it. The call blocking feature is really neat and stops those telemarketers from bugging us during dinner and during the evening news. Ours was a refurbished set and it has been working perfectly.
