    Another great book.

    I wasn't aware of the book when I purchased it, I'm an avid reader of James Patterson so I purchased it with no insight of the story line. I listen to audio books throughout my 100 mile round trip back and forth to work. This book is very different than any other JP has released. This was a joint venture written with other writers and it is somewhat easy to recognize it wasn't JP doing all the writing. It is a little disturbing due to the detail expressed with the lynchings, the beatings and the mentality back in the darker days of US history. I believe you must have an open mind when reading the book and be prepared to find disgust in the behavior of the characters. Most of JP's books are for entertainment purposes only and yet this book is making a bold statement using the ...

    Patterson's trial is one for us as well

    I like Patterson's work and have enjoyed many of his novels. I will continue to read him because I like his style and interesting characters. I just felt that this book, piggy-back onto his famous main character without any real connection to him, was filled with plot holes and left me wanting not my money, but my time back. There are worse thinfgs I have read, but this is my least favorite Patterson book bt far. For those reading Patterson for the first time, give him another try, he's worth it!

    Trial by Patterson

    I don't think this stands up to other stories he has written. It doesn't have the staying power his other books have on me. Thank younorabobvan831

    Excellent!! Captivating! Needs to be a movie!!

    Excellent book. Contains all the necessary components, hate, love,deceit,family, racism, politics etc, to be made into a captivating movie. A must read.
