Still well worth the read.
The content is dated (1978) and as such cannot comment on the way in which the pagan community enjoyed a wave of popularity and diversity since it was written. This does not diminish the value of the book and its core message. Well written with one of the better overviews of pertinent history and evolution. Her style and overall delivery makes for an easy and engaging read.

GOOD BASIC COMMON SENSE REFERENCE
Basics about the usuals, dieties, tools, covens, holidays, basic magic and visualization techniques. I like it because this is a great, back to basics, reference book. Moon dieties are "highlighted", my personal favorites. Some advanced techniques and a section on ethics.
