      The Queen of Metal is Back!

      After being gone for years from the music scene Lita comes back full force.This album is heavier sounding than most of her earlier albums.Lita's quitar work is still excellent.Her voice is strong,has not changed over the years she's been away from recording.She has never sounded better.I would give this album an excellent rating,if it where not for the vocals of Lita's husband Jim Gillette(of Nitro fame) being on every track.It almost comes across as a duet album sometimes.I never really cared for his singing voice.It is hit or miss on this album,but this album would have been better without.Still,Lita wanted to show her love and devotion to "her man" on this album.Almost every song has to do something with sex,but that's not a bad thing.Strong guitar,rocking ...

      Lit a Ford

      After all it's Lita Ford! The Runaways, Joan Jett!!! Joan went on to be a success but I think her music is to punk metal! It screams; look at me I'm a lesbian and I play rock n roll! Lita is just down right heavy metal and that's what I like!!!

      Lita Ford meets the Genitorturers

      It's hard to write an unbiased review in regards to a rock musician that had a profound influence on me. But it is perhaps good that she did in that I am intimately familiar with her works. Overall, I enjoyed this album immensely! I truly think it has to be her best work yet. The musical quality is superb. It is superbly produced. It sounds fresh. It's not more-of-the-same, yet it still pays homage enough to her old works to please hardcore Lita Ford fans. Her husband, Jim Gillette (formerly of Nitro) in some cases almost sounds like Marylin Manson, but it is a truly great addition. I recall reading somewhere (perhaps on Lita's MySpace page?) that she didn't inhibit herself lyrically or musically as she was instructed to do on previous albums, and the ...

      this may seem wicked to some

      this cd did not catch my attention like lita's previous stuff.i think she has grown musically though.it is pretty hard stuff and the guitar playing is really good.her vocals are good as well.the drummer has played for wasp in the past.there was a couple fo song that i liked,but this is one that would take several attempts to grow on me.

      I am not impressed

      Is this supposed to be her comeback album? Drop D tuning, her husband singing back up and dueting with her. Seems like LITA is looking for a new audience. On this cd she seems to forget what got her to be the Queen of Metal. She does shred on some of the solos but to me all the songs just blend together. I know some artist want to keep up with the times, but to me this is on par with the new Ace Frehley. This sound is not what got you where you are or have been. Is Jim influencing her to much because of his failed music career? Who knows. We just want our METAL heros to be just that, our HEROS. So please write a good album. Sebastian bach stayed true. He just got heavier. Maiden always stayed true. This album Makes Lita Fords BLACK look like a masterpiece.
