What a collection, spanning John's whole career. From the harmonies of the Kingston Trio, through the heady days of the adulation of the Phoenix Concerts to the thoughtful, thought provoking views of American society in his later years. A real cross section of the man who sang American society's story of the last 50 years, just magical. It will make you want to buy more of his albums just like me. Thanks John, you'll be missed but not forgotten.What a collection, spanning John's whole career. From the harmonies of the Kingston Trio, through the heady days of the adulation of the Phoenix Concerts to the thoughtful, thought provoking views of American society in his later years. If you are an "old school" Stewart fan, you will enjoy this CD. Since Stewart recently passed away, I am guessing his music will be even more popular! Great selection of songs, a lot of the original California Bloodlines represented and other well-know songs add up to an excellent CD.

I bought this because of two of his songs that I had heard. This is fresh stuff that carries the banner for folk/rock music that was popular in the sixties and seventies. He brings the sound of the Kingston Trio with him and his music always tells a tale, If you haven't heard John Stewart then you are missing something.
