I bid on a box of cameras awhile back and an old Sony camera was among the lot. The old camera has seen a LOT of wear and tear, but still works good. Problem is, I didn't save any of these old memory stick's back when I sold my last Sony product. I managed to find this one online, still new but old stock for sure. Plugged it into the little silver camera, and I am back in business. The little camera still takes better photo's then many newer ones I have in my collection, and this card just keeps saving them for me, were it not for this card, I would be forced to use little adapters and min cards, which just adds more problems then it solves.I bid on a box of cameras awhile back and an old Sony camera was among the lot. What prompted me to buy this item is that I have a sony camera that was giving me an error message saying the memory stick was defective. I was hoping my camera wasn't bad so I shopped ebay looking for one that would work with my camera. I have bought other cards in stores etc. that when I got them home was the wrong one. Just by looking at the picture on ebay I was able to get the right card the first time and problem solved...my camera is fully functional again.What prompted me to buy this item is that I have a sony camera that was giving me an error message saying the memory stick was defective. The Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo is reliable and holds a great number of photos.
This Memory Stick works in my Sony Cybershot DSC-W530 pocket camera which I have had for years. The package says the Stick will hold 590 photos but my last card, which was the same model, held 1888 photos. I have the camera set for low MB for e-mailing photographs. I never had any problems with my last Memory Stick and the new Memory Stick is working as it should.
