    My Search for a Nylon String is Over...

    As far as I can tell, the C12 is by far the most responsive nylon-string guitar being made partly in a factory. This guitar is concert-quality, absolutely. Mine had hard-tension strings, which I came around to preferring, and they're LOUD. Too often the high E and B strings just don't ring like they should -- you all know what I mean. Not so with C12! The workmanship is breathtaking. Comes in a gorgeous, strong case, with a good humidifier built in. If you play bossa nova or Heitmeyer-type swing/jazz arrangements, this thing is killer. In DADGAD tuning, it really steals a show -- great bass response. I like the treble volume most of all, though. My search for a nylon string really is over. : )

    Best $2k Classical Guitar

    What an amazing sound from this guitar. So glad I went with the Canadian Cedar rather than the spruce. The cedar is dark and rich. Love the "C" neck, super smooth and just thick enough but not too thick.

    Extraordinary guitars.

    Anthony Gaillard Murray built classical guitars in a Spanish tradition that predated the Ramirez powerhouses that Segovia championed from the 1960s onward. His guitars focus on tone rather than volume. Loudness was not his quest. Consequently, his instruments exhibit tremendous charm, mystery, and musicality. His woodworking skills were second to none. And he was characterized by sincerity and humility. Tony Murray guitars are a fabulous investment.
