    A simple point and shoot camera that is easy to use and carry on my belt.

    I purchased this camera because the one I have, identical to the one purchased, had stopped providing the date on my pictures. I have found the replacement flawless in operation. I love the compactness and features of this, no longer manufactured, camera. Specifically it offers a view finder with zoom to follow the lens and all lens movement is done inside the camera. I have now discovered that my original camera is working correctly so now I have two working identical cameras. It's great to have a backup.

    it was like christmas opening the package, I was one happy camper

    I bought this camera as a back-up. I already had one exactly like it. But-- this new one came with all the accessories, battery charger, extra hand strap, usb cable and even cables to hook up the camera to a TV set not to mention actual hard copy documentation you can hold in your hand. Was I ever pleasantly surprised when I found all of this along with software for viewing and manipulating images included in the package. This is a great addition to my photographic equipment And I know it takes really good pictures, especially close-ups and we have many gorgeous flowers for subjects. I was recently retired for health reasons and this equipment lets me do something constructive and satisfying with my time.

    Konica Minolta DIMAGE X50 5.0 Megapapixel

    This is an excellent camera. Just do not drop it or let the case slip off your belt & drop when your go to the potty. If you do,the screen will then be half gone. About four or five years ago Mr. Mossberg rated it when new in the Wall Street Journal and used about 60% of a page praising it. So I bought one and have purchased six since. Two have been dropped with 1/2 screen resulting, one pickpocketed on a Rome, Italy, subway, one for my son, one for my dear wife, and now extras for spares.

    A real bargain

    It allows me to take macro photos without spending a fortune on speciality lenses and camera. My hobby - rockhounding leads me to cutting and polishing semi-precious gemstones. With a macro ready camera I can take photos of the finished product. The price was right and the unit came with all the original accessories and paperwork. The only drawback was the hunt for mating SD storage media which has been upgraded immensily since the original of the particular camer model. However again through bay I was able to secure hard to find now almost obsolete SD media. The whole endeavor was 5 star plus.
