Works great but would still like a metal replacement cover instead of the plastic one
Exact OEM part for my truck. Came with all I need for a quick and easy oil filer element replacement. I am going to keep the cover as a spare and use the filter element and o-rings on my next oil change. I do wish that Ford or someone would make an aluminum or similar metal replacement unit. I am always apprehensive of plastic parts as they tend to get brittle with age then crack at the worst possible time.Exact OEM part for my truck. Having a spare filter assembly is a good idea
Genuine Ford part, A "must have" for doing your own oil filter change. The small O-ring is a real pain to change. Better to have the whole assembly then you can take your time changing out the O-ring for your next filter change.
