    A beautiful & complete dictionary from A through Z with eitiological underpinnings of words as well.

    For some of us, particularly those of us with academic leanings, a complete dictionary is of vital importance--this dictionary meets the need. It is built to last a long time too.

    Now I know what a woman is.

    Printed in 2002. Apparently they knew the definition of a woman back in those days. It’s a nice little snapshot of the English language before the world went insane.

    Webster's Third International Dictionary

    Much thought has gone into the publication of this work. The result is a nice compromise between the physical size of the work and the information it provides. The scholarship that contributed to the work is excellent, and its authority is legend. It's a handsomely bound tome and should be in every home.

    Dictionary

    This is one heavy small print lots of pages dictionary. I wondered why we have so many words and its because a lot of them are words specific to certain situations or industries that most of us would consider foreign.
