Remodel lights
Replaced cheaper no branded lights because there transformer were getting to hot. Time will tell how this type of light works but they seem a lot better then the old ones. The only complaint is that they are thicker than the drywall so you have to be careful where you drill them in also the spring will not hold them tight unless you have 5/8” drywall we had to put spacers under the spring where the drywall was 1/2” but that was a minor issueReplaced cheaper no branded lights because there transformer were getting to hot. Great for DIY
I’m not a electrician, but these lights were so easy to install. Bought a 6” drill kit at Lowe’s for $20 and ran my wires to each one and finished installing 8 lights in one day. I also added a Lutron dimmer smart switch link to Alexa for voice activation. They work great!
