runs my high torq starter just fine
wanted to use solenoid for a season before I give review I have a all balls high torque starter and it handles it just fine, bought a extra one just to have on hand, one thing I would like to mention, when you install your battery cables be careful not to over tighten nuts as the solenoid end is only hard plastic (Bakelite) other than that I give it a thumbs up! ride responsibly..have a good ride..RLBwanted to use solenoid for a season before I give review I have a all balls high torque starter and it handles it just fine, bought a extra one just to have on hand, one thing I would like to mention, when you install your battery cables be careful not to over tighten nuts as the solenoid end is only hard plastic (Bakelite) other than that I give it a thumbs up! ride responsibly..have a good ride..RLB

I read a couple of reviews on the vtwin forums and harley forums about this starter solenoid and how it was one of the better made solenoids. Well, this thing is pretty cheap. If you're going to buy it then be sure to barely tighten the nuts that hold the cables in place (which is counter intuitive to making sure you have a good connection at the solenoid). It felt as if they needed to be hand tight to ensure the cheap, black plastic covering did not break (mine busted into multiple pieces). I'm only giving this 2 stars because I was able to salvage the parts and transfer them to my old starter solenoid.I read a couple of reviews on the vtwin forums and harley forums about this starter solenoid and how it was one of the better made solenoids.
