Packaging is beat up - but is as shown in images. Item is new, but package has been opened. Item is missing a small "drumhead screw" and is not sitting in the packaging the way it comes from the manufacturer - this definitely had been opened, but it does not look like it was used, so I'm happy with that. In the end, I'm fine with everything. Quick shipping and a smooth transaction.
