    Works. Dont buy version that has USB-A PC plug in at the end of the cable. That one does not handle fast USB3 transfers (like SSD on USB3 adapter). Be aware that USB-C is designed to be plugged in either way, so the PC knows to switch wires around when you plug it in "upside down". PCs with a USB3 on a USB-A (std) connector does not expect to have to switch these wires around...so...if you plug a USB-C device (like this) into a USB-A adapter and you only get USB2 speed, flip the USB-C over.
