About this product

Product Information

A low earth orbit space station is in the middle of a repair mission with the space shuttle when an unforeseen meteor shower obliterates them both. This sudden event sends fireballs hurtling to Earth and scientists scurrying to telescopes. An amateur astronomer is the first to spy a gigantic fireball headed towards the planet and notifies NASA. Turner (Thornton) informs the president of the asteroid and describes it as being "the size of Texas," a planet-killer. With eighteen days to impact, NASA frantically tries to find a solution but ends up turning to an outside contractor. Harry Stamper (Willis) and his team of oilmen are called upon to save the planet as only they can.

    Good classic movie, Love and Good Message

    Armageddon has become a classic and it it still being sold in ebay, It has a touch of fun, love, and drama, i has a duration of about 2 hours and a half, I liked the part when a single father went to his ex wife house and suddenly saw his little kid but the kid didn't know that hi was his father, so the mother tall the little kid that he was a salesman, The sing father was actually going to the mission for destroying the asteroid, so he appeared in TV and the kid saw him and asked the mother, mom the salesman is in the tv, the mother said, no son This is you father.

    great movie

    this movie never gets old for me. great cast and funny. very nice action and would be scary if would happen but overall good movie. use during trips for soccer

    what a ride

    a totaly entertaining movie! (that prety much summ's it up) No Oscars,deep messages, or life lessons, but one of my favorite movies of all time. This was on my "must own" list for some time and was happy to see it come out in UMD format. the plane rides will go by faster now.

More to explore :
