PRICE! POWER! SIZE!
This flashlight is extremely bright and indeed warrants the 1000 lumen claim. Very well made and unique design with clip that allows for attachment to hat bill although it's a little heavy it's still not too much of a bother. Didn't have any issues with the magnetic charger, the other customer may have not provided a USB port that pushed enough amperage to the light (1A is not going to cut it) it will require at least 2 to 3 amps @ 5 volts, which is pretty much on the same standard as any modern smartphone wall adapter, a PC USB port is not going to sufficiently charge such a powerful little flashlight. The BAD: The Kub is HEAVY for its size, as is any micro LED in this class. The tiny light gets HOT on high and medium but this is to be expected in such a small aluminum casing. An ... An uncomfortable amount of heat NOT enough to damage skin of an adult however. Note that you also won't want to drop this light, it will be damaged on concrete due to its weight. It'll keep on working though but expect the aluminum to be marred in doing so. The GOOD: PRICE! POWER! SIZE! It's a no-brainer at this price point, this light is as cool as it gets and offers some exceptionally rad articulation any techy is sure to appreciate. Shout to the design team, a fantastic achievement in modern LED lighting!
