I really don't see any difference between these blades and the ones that I used to buy for my Trac II back in the 80's and 90's. I just bought them recently out of nostalgia as I hadn't used them in years. I wasn't feeling all that nostalgic at some of the prices I saw but after I saw how much these went for, I decided to stock up. These razors are really good for camping, FTX's, and deployments because they pack well and are good for shaving quickly.

The soap strip on top of the blades has a 'gooey' feel about it.

I actually prefer these to the newer multi blade units. They trim closer to the nose and are more accurate to the side burns. They last for 3 or 4 weeks if you dry them after use. At first they can be a little harsh to the skin, but your skin will quickly acclimate to them and they will be smooth and nick free.

I was shocked when I went to my local department store to get some razor blades. They wanted almost $20.00 for just a few blades. I told the wife that I was going to stop shaving at this price!! I came home and got on line. I ended up purchasing the 100 pack of the Personna Twin 2 blades that are compatible with my Gillette Trac 2 shaver. I was pleasantly shocked at the low price. I figured that I better NOT get my hopes up for a good shave. I just tried my first blade, randomly selected from the package of 100 Personna blades. I was pleasantly surprised at the shave I got. It was close enough that I couldn't feel an stubble nor did I have any bleeding nicks like I would always have from using the brand name blades. If your tired of spending lots of money on your brand name blades for your Gillette trac 2's, then I highly recommend the 100 pack of Personna Twin 2 blades. They are just as good if not better than the extremely over priced brand name blades.Read full review

Can't find Twin Blades anymore , except the cheap throw away kind that butchers your face and leaves you a bloody mess . Guess they want to sell their over priced multi blades and don't want us to have a cheaper option . Only used one 3 times so far , but it works great for me . I usually use an electric razor first and finish up with a Twin Blade . Unless I let it grow too long , then the electric doesn't work and I have to use the Twin Blade . I'm happy I found them and satisfied with them . Should have enough for a LONG time now with 100 blades .
