Ok ,you're not gonna be djenting with this pedal ,but it covers a fair range of playing styles ,and having the lead channel makes it a wise choice for the money. Yes the battery add on is silly ,but if you're running a pedal board ,then you most likely use a power supply. The pedal is rugged and good looking. My recommendation is for use on rockabilly or a lighter style of rock ,where a gentle crunch is needed !!!.

There was no grippy part on the bottom but it’s the best price, the best quality, and it came in three days!

Disappointed. I cant get a usable tone from this thing whether using it as a standalone or to boost an amp channel or other pedals. It's a doorstop for me now. You live and you learn. I have some great Caline pedals but this one is very bad.

i am new at all this. except for listening to rock guitar. been doin that for 50 years... i got a great wah pedal and was about to decide that was all i needed. fortunately, this prickly pedal was already in the mail. subtle if you want it to be. a firestorm tornado if ya need it to be. i am gonna have a two pedal board, and i could not be happier.

No internal 9v battery connections. How much did they save? 12 cents?
