    Works OK, Too Heavy

    I bought my Fuji X-T2 because it was small and light-weight. Perfect for travel. However, once I experienced Boost Mode, I love the faster EVF refresh. The problem is that Boost Mode drains a battery quickly. I bought the VPB-XT2 for extended run time with its 3 battery capability. Honestly, I hate this grip because it makes a X-T2 weigh as much as a full-size Nikon dSLR. Don't believe me? I measured the combo as 32.3 ounces (3 batteries, 2 SD cards, no strap) vs. my Nikon D300s at 32.9 ounces (battery, 1 CF & 1 SD card, no strap). I wouldn't travel with the Nikon, so I certainly will leave the Fuji grip home when I take my X-T2. Also, the grip makes the camera too big and bulky. No longer a fun camera. Again, small and light were exactly the reasons for buying a X-T2, so this ...

    Best Grip for a Camera I ever used

    This is very well designed grip for Fujifilm X-T2 camera. I wish all camera companies designed their grip this well. First is built quality. It matches the build quality of X-T2 so when it is on, it feels like a part of the camera. (Canon take note! Their higher end cameras are magnesium allow but their grips are plastic!) It also adds features like booster mode and earphone plug to monitor the sound in video. The controls are great and each battery has a separate indicator so you know exactly which battery to recharge after use instead of charging all the batteries. It also gives you added confidence on the battery indicators. When you have the grip on, camera feels firmer in your hand. You can take it off for portability when you are out about casually.     A must have for the Fujifilm x-t2!

    Enables boost mode, which allows faster FPS shooting and AF, it also increases the frame rate in viewfinder. Fits like a glove. No complaints. This item improves ergonomics while drastically increasing your battery life, a must have.
