Works As Advertised!!!
I acquired a Kawasaki ZG1000 and it had some rust on the tank baffles, etc. After using EVO rust remover a slight leak developed at the weld joint for the fuel gauge sending unit. The tank was removed, washed and drained and allowed to dry thoroughly. Once dried a vacuum cleaner hose was inserted in the filler to eliminate a rust dust storm while blowing around the inside of the tank with an appropriate length air nozzle. Since I knew where the leak was an 8 oz. can of sealer was enough. The tank was wrapped in a large heavy duty trash bag. The bag was trimmed to fit and masked around the filler opening, etc. The lower openings were sealed with tape, threads protected. The sealer can was slow and difficult to open. Once poured into the tank the tank was moved around to coat the seams ... Once poured into the tank the tank was moved around to coat the seams without being sloshed out the filler opening. I also used a long brush to double coat the area around the leak. After a short time the tape protecting the lower openings was removed and the openings and threads were cleaned. After a day of curing a narrow 40 watt bulb was periodically inserted in the filler opening to help eliminate moisture throughout the course of the 5 day curing time due to colder weather. The tank being cleaned and dried thoroughly is key to success along with user caution.

Great product. Used it to seal steel tanks that were 10 years old. After proper preparation, POR 15 sealed the tanks to a hard shell. Use it on Harley flat side tanks.
