A good Story with great Features
Much more accurate than the original series from the 50's.. I've studied the life of Ness, including the Untouchables, & was satisfied with what I saw.. Of course Hollywood has to make it interesting as the real story is actually very dull, there never was a shootout between them and Capone, Capone and Ness never spoke, the one time Capone saw Ness he didn't even know who it was.. But again I was satisfied totally, the Actors, the location shooting, the cars, clothes, weapons were so original to the times, even being shot in color it looked like you were witnessing it as it was happening back then.. Much more accurate than the original series from the 50's.. I've studied the life of Ness, including the Untouchables, & was satisfied with what I saw.. Very good reboot of the 1959-1963 original series.
I watched this show back in 1993 and liked it. Happy to see it available on DVD. It's not as good as the 1987 movie but is well performed and production values are quite faithful to the period. Almost as good as the Robert Stack original show and in color to boot.
