This Motorola cordless phone includes one main base with phone jack plug-in capabilities, electric adjustable base, two handsets, and a built-in handsfree headset. Equipped with DECT 6.0 digital technology, this digital cordless phone enhances call clarity, reduces interference from other wireless electronics, and maximizes call range. The Motorola L903 has an indoor range of up to 160 ft and outdoor range of 980 ft. A built-in answering machine, featuring 15 minutes of recording time, is available from all handsets on this digital cordless phone. All handsets on this Motorola cordless phone have a 3-line LCD display. The LCD display is backlit for easy reading in dim light and can hold up to 30 previous caller ID entries. The Motorola L903 can safely store up to 30 names and numbers directly into the handset for easy access to frequently dialed numbers.

Read the manual to set it up (if you still have it)
Setup was not very intuitive, but a quick google lookup helped to sync it with the existing house unit. Its range appears to be fine and audio quality is quite good. Speakerphone functionality is used all the time and works just fine. Holds a charge pretty good too. Too bad it's discontinued - hence eBay is the only way to find them now ...
