Either the envelope had been tampered with or the buttons had penetrated the somewhat flimsy envelope. However, the seller was very quick in refunding my payment (even though it wasn’t expected). I bought two packs of ten for two people so it's a bit unfortunate that the buttons arrived in one pack of twenty but not for the one lucky recipient as the flat packaging is so good and easy to put in an envelope I haven't the heart to wreak the packaging to split them.
