GREAT REPLACEMENT PART! Not for the feint of heart!
This is a GREAT REPLACEMENT PART! The string broke on my Stereo Volume/Pan Pedal 2 weeks ago after over a decade of great performance. This replacement string and spring kit was a lifesaver to repair the pedal. Working again and ready to go for years to come!! Now, fair warning– trying to effect the repair on this pedal is not for the impatient or the feint of heart! READ AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS!!! You are working in a very tight space from BOTH ENDS of the pedal so take your time and do it right using a couple of long hook tools or paper clips (perhaps a chain of paper clips?) to be able to reach in there and position the cable properly! Not for the faint of heart
This was a difficult fix... only because of the dexterity required to getting everything in place. It took me several tries to get it right, and after a couple hours I vowed to buy a replacement pedal the next time my string breaks.
