About this product

Product Information

Based on a popular Japanese anime series turned Cartoon Network show, Bleach: The Blade of Fate lets gamers take control of the star of the series, a 15-year-old boy named Ichigo Kurosaki with supernatural powers. Players can also fight with 27 other characters, each with unique fighting skills, and all 28 characters are voiced by actors from the television series. Up to four DS duelers can do battle in multi-plane 2D fighting arenas, and players can use the stylus to access health, attack, and defense boost cards in the lower screen. Initially, there are five game modes available, including "Story," "Arcade," and "Versus," and as players progress two more game modes, extra characters, story content, and costumes are unlocked.

    Great graphics fighting game

    If you like fighting games of the Japanese Anime genre than this may be the game for you. I definitely enjoyed it and so did my grandkids.

    single player modes good, multiplayer could be great

    very fast paced fighting game. Fun in single player mode, however would be way more fun if there were ever people on Wifi. The first day I played it I was able to get 4 players online together in a matter of minutes, now I can barely get one player after waiting 10 minutes. Wifi is just a battery waster at the moment, and that's a shame. the DS download play takes too long between matches to really be any fun. You have to wait 1.5 minutes to 2 minutes for the other DS to download enough data to start the fight. Despite the lack of wifi popularity, I did get a lot of gameplay out of the story mode and single player against the cpu. Game would be excellent if human competition was more available

    Bleach: The Blade of Fate (Nintendo DS)

    My Son liked Bleach: The Blade of Fate. Here is his review. It had fluid game play with an ingenuitive system. The card system provides flexible matches and has high replayability value with a wide selection fo character from the start. All in all its a great fighting game. As a hand held you probably won't have much time for game play, but overall it's good.

    Great Game

    Good, solid fighting game. Easy to pick up and play. Wifi capabilities allow hours of fun with people around you or your friends. Language is in japanese but you can pretty much tell what modes are which because of the voice over. Controls run smooth and stylus helps with if you dont like manually doing specials. One of the best DS fighting games out on the market.

    I <3 Bleach!

    I bought this game when it first came out years ago for a friend of mine, and often found myself borrowing it from them because it was so amazing. I&apos;ve known for years that I had to get one for myself, and so I did. It is one of my all-time favorite DS games. It&apos;s a fantastic game for those who like fighting style games, or if they like Bleach. I &lt;3 Bleach!
