      Nikon 1 Nikkor 35-110mm F/3.8-5.6 VR Lens

      I recently bought this len for my Nikon 1 J1 and V1 at a reasonable price without box. This len is good value for general zoom shooting of far objects or street photography. It is light weight and the focusing is quite fast, except when fully extended to over 90mm or 110mm. The len is sharper from 45mm to 60mm and if extended beyond this range, you will need a tripod as the J1 and V1 is such a small camera and hand shake will certainly turn your photos blur. For the price I paid, it is good value but I am not sure how long the general build can last since I just started using it.

      If you have a Nikon 1, you will want this lens to use with it!

      Bought this lens before going on vacation, since the 10-30mm that came with the camera is pretty limiting. It didn't disappoint! It allowed me to get a lot "closer" without loosing image quality (like zooms on point and shoots) or having to lug my DSLR+lenses around. Got some fabulous, crystal clear images of birds and wildlife while out hiking. It also came in handy at a botanical garden we visited that had a path you were required to stay on. Paired with the manual focus feature on the camera, this lens allowed me to get some images of leaves and flowers that look like I was only inches away. I am very impressed and glad I purchased this lens.

      WOW! Impressive lens

      This lens is sharper than expected. It highly exceeds my highest expatiations. Impressive sharpness! Very good build quality as I would expect from Nikon. The price is such a bargain for an incredible lens. I am using my Nikon 1 camera much more due to the remarkable results and capabilities of the camera and lens combination.

      I would recommend this to anybody that truly enjoys taking good pictures.

      I purshased this lens because I have the Nikon1. I really enjoy taking pictures, I looked everywhere for this lens and it was 250.00 so I got on eBay and found it here for 100.00 I was so stoked, it takes fabulous pictures. I go to alot of concerts it zooms to make it look like I am standing right beside the person!! My friends say they love my pics and can't believe my camera does such a good job. I read about refurbished products and I really do believe that I got a great deal for a great price, the only thing that I can't do is record with this lens, maybe you can and I'm missing it but that is the only con. I have had other lens that can't compare to this one, I'm sorry I can't compare it to anything else. Nikon knew what they were doing, Thanks so much!!
