Nice little board
I find this board to be powerful for it's size, and quicker than I thought it'd be. I put 8GB of memory in it and it handles surfing and file transfers pretty well. I don't play games other than retro Mario games on it, so I can't speak to how it handles gaming. I will say this, make sure you pay attention to COOLING. At first I thought, "this board is really slow", because it would stutter and hesitate. After checking all the usual suspects (virus,etc), I looked into hardware, and came up with overheating. I wasn't too sure about the lack of APU cooling fan, and this thing is very sensitive to heat. I put it in a small case, and sure enough it was overheating and shutting down cores. I put a couple more fans in the case and problem solved. I was also impressed with some of the software ... I find this board to be powerful for it's size, and quicker than I thought it'd be. While I can not say enough good things about the a68n-5000 motherboard I was a bit disappointed wit the last one order and found it to be a68n-5200. The a68n-5200 though it being a faster processor comes with a CPU cooling fan. Not that it is a bad thing, but I wanted a system that was passively cooled. Either way if you are looking for a good little work horse that works well with Linux (PCLinuxOS) then either of these boards are up to the job.While I can not say enough good things about the a68n-5000 motherboard I was a bit disappointed wit the last one order and found it to be a68n-5200. Great power efficient desktop!
If you plan on building a simple desktop or a HTPC, this board is a great choice. I never see temperatures over 46 degrees Celsius. Pair this with a SSD and you will have very fast boot times. I added a Samsung 256 GB SSD and an ASUS DVD drive. The case is a Rosewill mini itx with a 250w power supply. It is also ready for Windows 10. Install some DVD suit software and Office.

It does everything I need it to . The processor handles windows 10 great. It don't lag. It's a great deal for the cost. Video plays great. Audio is great. It may not be a gaming motherboard , and cpu. But for the everyday things it's more then adequate . .
