    Good period movie of WWII made during the day.

    An old movie from my past that I wanted to see again. Thank goodness for DVD's as this movie would never play in theaters today. That it is reasonably accurate to what happened is an advantage as well. Now the truth was far more complex and how this got started is another story by itself. But while every plane was lost that they did what they did had a massive change in the war.

    This is a true story but a few parts may be slightly changed by "Hollywood" writers. They missed a few facts but the real story would have made a 4 hour movie. Doolittle's story alone would have made 3 or those hours.
